When I met her I probably didn’t even know what true love was. At 16, most guys probably don’t. I quickly discovered what it was in that her voice was music to my ears, and her face lit up the room, and it just hurt to be away from one another. As I look back she’s taught me about love, patience, caring and what thoughtfulness is truly about. It may sound trite to say she makes me a better man, but it’s true. Funny though, after knowing her for 37 years, and being married for 30, her voice is still music to me, and her face not only lights up the room, but my heart.
