Ken and Mauro
We were brought together 18 years ago from wildly different worlds and have been bound together by our deep love for each other, shared passions (cooking, traveling, entertaining friends, wine) and mutual support of individual dreams. Our connection was immediate, that classic love-at-first-sight moment the night we first met at a party when we each thought to ourselves, "yes, this is the one I've been waiting for all these years." On our first unofficial date, we spent an unforgettable day...with Ken's houseguests and we didn't get a moment alone for several days until that first good night kiss on Ken's front porch. After that, we spent all of our free time together (and still largely do)--inquiring, revealing, laughing and playing, without any of the usual dating games or uncertainties. Since those first few days in August '97, we've continued to grow up as individuals and closer as a couple, embarking on several serendipitous journeys together surrounded by the love and support of our family and growing circle of friends.
