Shandy and Hans
Since your request of a love note I was diagnosed with breast cancer and with all scary moments come twinkle dust, smatterings of fear, and abundance of love but most of all a solidification and remembrance of the strength and acceptance Hans gives to me both physically and mentally. My once smooth skin is now marked with scars and visual reminders of our last few months. What inspires me is that Hans never looked away, never seemed scared and never wavered in how beautiful he thought I looked. To feel his love so deeply, beyond skin and scars, was and is an amazing feeling. I don't take this gift for granted and only hope that all woman and men get to experience this type of love and acceptance at least once in their life. The twinkle dust flows!
