Colleen and Dave
As cheesy as it sounds, I fell in love with Dave at first sight at the Fleming Foods trade show 27 years ago....seeing him from afar I just knew deep in my heart that he would be my Forever Love! Our journey has taken us through the highest highs: raising our daughters Annelise and Haley and the simple loving moments at the end of the day snuggling the whole family in our bed watching Full House or the thrilling exotic experiences of traveling the world together to Tahiti, the Olympics in Greece or the Australian Open. I equally treasure our special date nights and pure happiness of holding your hand in the movies or riding our bikes together. Our love has also endured the lowest lows...deaths of our beloved Dads way too young and the tremendous loss of my ever loving and generous Mom who I wasn't sure I could live without but you were always there to support me through the worst pain. We have also found a way to survive multiple years where we couldn't find our love connection at all and our marriage could have ended but thankfully my sister helped us find a way back through years of work through Pairs. We learned that caring behaviors are so powerful in lifting each other up and 90 percent of what we feel negatively about our partner is really a reflection of our own struggle. Sharing our deepest feeling and listening with a truly open and caring heart can carry us through the toughest times and miraculously renew our love. Dave, you are my Forever Love and we can conquer anything in this world together! I love you so very much!!
